About Cervo & Associates
Cervo & Associates is a migration consultancy providing registered migration advice services to clients in Perth, across Australia, and internationally.
The firm was founded by Normida “Jec” Cervo, a Registered Migration Agent regulated by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority. With a professional background in Human Resources and global mobility, Jec brings both technical expertise and lived experience to every client engagement.
Our Story
Cervo & Associates was established in honour of Jec’s late parents, whose values of resilience, integrity, and compassion continue to shape the firm’s approach.
Their influence is reflected in the way the firm supports clients. Every migration journey is treated with care, respect, and a genuine commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes.
The Founder’s Journey
Born and raised in the Philippines, Jec moved to Australia in 2014 in pursuit of better opportunities for her family. At the time, she had already built a decade long career in Human Resources with a multinational pharmaceutical company.
Starting again in a new country came with challenges. She adapted to a new environment, rebuilt her career, and navigated the complexities of the Australian visa system firsthand.
In 2015, she was granted Permanent Residency. This experience shaped her deep understanding of the migration process and the realities faced by many applicants.
Professional Experience and Expertise
After settling in Western Australia, Jec began working in a boutique migration firm, where she developed her skills in visa processing and client advisory.
She later joined the global mobility team of a major energy and mining company, gaining further experience in:

- Skilled migration pathways
- International workforce mobility
To formalise her expertise, she completed her studies in Migration Law, achieved Dean’s Merit List recognition, and passed the Migration Agents Capstone Assessment on her first attempt.
